Velkommen til Barents Pride 2019 – Verdens eneste norsk-russiske Pride

FRI- Foreningen for kjønns- og seksualitetsmangfold inviterer i samarbeid med Amnesty International, Den norske Helsingforskomite, Skeiv verden og Maximum til Barents pride i Kirkenes. På Barents Pride møtes norske og russiske organisasjoner og aktivister for å feire mangfold og kjærlighet og kjempe for at menneskerettighetene skal gjelde alle

26.-28. september arrangeres verdens eneste norsk-russiske Pride i Kirkenes. Vi varmer opp med aktivisme, politikk og kulturelle innslag før det store høydepunktet: Parade og paradefest lørdag 28. september.

Program Barents Pride 2019

Alle arrangementer i programmet er åpne og gratis for alle.
Torsdag 26. september:

13.00 - 16.00: Rosa kompetanse holder gratis kurs
Sted: Samfunnshuset

Rosa kompetanse, en egen av deling under FRI, holder gratis foredrag for alle som ønsker å øke sin bevisshet knyttet til kjønn og seksualitet. Daglig reiser de rundt i Norge og holder kurs for alt fra små og store bedrifter og deres ansatte, til personell i helse, skole, barnevern og barnehage. Les mer om Rosa kompetanse her.

 

Fredag 27. september:

12.00 -13.00: Bli kjent med oss!
Sted: Samfunnshuset 

Kirkenes er full av forventningsfulle Pridedeltakere, og dette er første og beste anledning til å bli kjent. En time med oppvarming til helgens spennende program.

 

13.30 -15.30: Fra idé til virkelighet - hvordan lage en vellykket Pride?
Sted: Samfunnshuset 

Lurer du på hva som skal til for å lage en parade? Eller en skeiv festival elelr markering? Har du selv en idé du har lyst å sette ut i livet? Møt aktivister som har fått til dette i Norge, Latvia og Russland og få deres beste tips. Bli deretter med på en spennende workshop om fremtiden til Barents Pride.

 

16.00 - 20.00: Gratis hurtigtest for hiv og syfilis!
Sted: Scandic Kirkenes (oppmøte i hotellresepsjonen)

Sjekkpunkt tilbyr hurtigtester for hiv og syfilis. Du får svar på ett minutt og det er gratis og helt anonymt. Info om Sjekkpunkts romnummer vil finnes i hotellresepsjonen ved ankomst. Velkommen! 

 

16.00 - 17.00: Regnbuemesse
Sted: Kirkenes Kirke 

Prest Torbjørn Brox Webber vil holde en messe der alle er velkomne uavhengig av kjønnsidentitet, kjønnsutrykk, seksuell orientering eller religiøs tilhørighet. Regnbusemessen vil foregå på norsk, samisk og russisk.

 

17.30 - 19.30: Teater
Sted: Samfunnshuset 

Performance teater: "Love is the main thing", av teatergruppen Creative Association EDP.

 

21.00: Kino
Sted: Aurora kino Kirkenes 

Den familievennlige, skeive filmen "Pride" vises med russisk undertekst.

  

Lørdag 28. september

10.00 - 13.00: Paradeforberedelser
Sted: Samfunnshuset

Vi pynter oss sammen, lager bannere og materiell til paraden. Ta gjerne med glitter, ansiktsmaling og bannere du ønsker  å male på.

 

14.00: Pride Parade
Sted: Kirkenes skole (oppstilling ved inngangen mot veien, oppmøte fra kl 13.30)

Vi går sammen i Kirkenes for mangfold, likestilling og menneskerettigheter. Vi avslutter med appeller på torget og åpent hus på Samfunnshuset for alle paradedeltakerne.

 

15.00 - 16.30: Paradeshow
Sted: Samfunnshuset

Vi kommer sammen etter paraden på Samfunnshuset. Det blir taler og musikk ved artist Woodplace. Vi serverer kake og kaffe.

 

17.00 - 18.00: Fra fengsler til familier - en time med russisk skeiv kultur!
Sted: Kirkenes Bibliotek

På tross av at informasjon om lhbt-spørsmål sensureres i Russland, finnes det modige kunstnere, journalister og aktivister som finner sine måter å fortelle historier fra det skeive miljøet. I løpet av denne timen vil du få høre om en bok om regnbuefamilier - "De usynlige familiene", og om hvordan skeive historier fra fengsler får et eget digitalt liv i det prisbelønte prosjektet "Women.Prison.Society", same se fotoutstillingen "HomoSynthesis" av Ala Grach og kunstverk av Roman Brumel.

21:00: Paradefest på Ofelas Arena

Vi feirer fellesskap og solidaritet med fest, kultur og musikk. Her er det gode muligheter for å bli kjent med kollegaer og venner fra hele Barentsregionen. Arrangementet er gratis og åpent for alle over 18 år.

 

 

We welcome you to Barents Pride 2019 – The world’s only Norwegian-Russian Pride.

FRI – The Norwegian Organization for Sexual and Gender Diversity, in collaboration with Amnesty International Norway, The Norwegian Helsinki Committee, Queer World and Maximum, invites you to Barents Pride in Kirkenes, a city in the far north of Norway. At Barents Pride, just a short drive from the Russian border, Norwegian and Russian organizations and activists meet up to fight for equality and celebrate diversity and love.

The 26th to the 28th of September 2019 we will throw the world’s only Norwegian-Russian Pride in Kirkenes. In the wait of the week’s highlight, the parade and this year’s closing party Saturday the 28th of September, we will warm up with activism, political and cultural events.

 

 

Program Barents Pride 2019

(All events in the program are both open and free of charge.)

Thursday the 26th of September:

13.00 - 16.00: Free lecture regarding awareness in LGBTQ+ questions
Location: Samfunnshuset

FRI – The Norwegian Organization for Sexual and Gender Diversity’s own department for educating and raising awareness in LGBTQ+ matters within public institutions such as the educational, social and health departments as well as other organizations and companies – “Pink Competence” – will give a free lecture for all who want to learn more about sexual and gender diversity.

Friday the 27th of September:

12.00 – 13.00: Get to know us!
Location: Samfunnshuset
Kirkenes is full og hopeful Pride participants, and this is a good opportunity to get acquainted. An hour of warming up to the exiting program this weekend.

 

13:30 – 15:30: From idea to reality - how to make a successful Pride?
Location: Samfunnshuset
Do you want to know how to organize a parade? Or a queer festival or event? Maybe you even have an idea yourself that you want to put into action? Meet activists who have done this already, in Norway, Latvia and Russia and get their best advice, and take part in an exciting workshop on the future of Barents Pride.

 

16.00 - 20.00: Free rapid test for HIV and syphilis!
Location: Scandic Hotel Kirkenes
Sjekkpunkt (Checkpoint) provides drop in rapid tests for HIV and syphilis. Testing is always free and anonymous. You will find information about Checkpoint's room number in the reception on arrival. Welcome!

  

16.00 – 17.00: Rainbow Church Mass
Location: Kirkenes Church
Priest Torbjørn Brox Webber will hold an accepting service in Kirkenes’ church for everybody, regardless of your sexual identity, orientation or belief. The mass will be held in both Norwegian and Russian.

 

17.30 - 19.30: Theater
Location: Samfunnshuset
Performance theater: "Love is the main thing", by the group Creative Association EDP.

 

21:00: Cinema
Location: Aurora kino Kirkenes
Screening of "Pride". Russian subtitles.

 

Saturday the 28th of September:

10:00 – 13:00: Parade preparations
Location: Samfunnshuset
We get together to dress up, make banners and produce other materials in front of the parade. You may very well bring your own facial paint/Pride make-up and the banners you wish to paint.

 

14:00: Pride Parade
Location: Kirkenes School (alignment by the entrance to the road)
We walk together through the streets of Kirkenes for diversity, equality and general human rights. At the end we will gather up at the town’s main square with speeches and an open house back at Samfunnshuset for all Parade contestants.


15:00 – 16:30: Parade Show
Location: Samfunnshuset
Back at Samfunnshuset there will a short speech as well as a live act from artist Emilie Skogstad Andreassen. There will also be served cakes and coffee.

 

16.30 - 17.30: From prisons to families - and hour of Russian queer culture.
Location: Library
Despite the sensureship on lgbt issues in Russia, brave artists, journalists and activists find ways to tell the stories of their community. During this hour you will get to hear about a book on lgbt families - “Invisible families”, about how lgbt stories from inside of Russian prisons circle the digital world through the award winning project “Women.Prison.Society”, the photo exhibition ”HomoSynthesis” by Ala Grach and art paintings by Roman Brumel.

We will end this year’s Barents Pride with a party, celebrating our culture with music and splendid opportunities to meet up with colleagues and friends from the whole Barents region.
